The Cranberries Gazette said today that the Butterfly Kiss thing is a weird rumour but it isn't. Elio ( oriordan@sti.com.br ) e-mailed me yesterday to tell me the track list for the list of songs from The Cranberries that are played on this movie. The songs are: 1. Ridiculous Thoughts 2. Away 3. I Don't Need 4. No Need to Argue I've also been told that only No Need to Argue is played in full lenght. Their is no soundtrack available for the general public for this movie but if you look very hard, you might see a promo copy of the soundtrack. Bye bye! In this case, don't believe the Cranberries Gazette. I didn't read it. I'm just replying to this post. There is a movie called Butterfly Kiss as Fluoberry mentioned. As he also has mentioned, there are several Cranberries songs in it. I have a copy of this movie, but have not watched it yet - it's still in shrink-wrap. Several people I know have watched it though and none of them mentioned anything beyond what is written below to the best of my knowledge (no rare unreleased tracks or anything). The Cranberries songs have appeared in quite a few movie soundtracks. Dreams is the most common track, but sometimes you'll find others. In most cases, it's used only for background music that you wouldn't notice unless you're a Cranberries fan. Butterfly Kiss is an exception, I believe. Another little known film that the Cranberries are featured in is an Australian movie, Back of Beyond." In the final scene, a woman is dancing in a diner to Dreams, and it continues to play as they fade into the credits. I have not seen a soundtrack for this film, nor a videocassette, but it probably exists - I have a laserdisc. Hope that helps to settle a few things. The actual song is titled "Dream Person" and it is a Dreams cover by Asian super-pop star Faye Wong. The song is in Chinese, not Japanese. The song itself appears on the Faye Wong album roughly translated as "Random Thinking". Hmm.. I'm not sure of the movie title.
