I was wondering if you could tell me when the concert tickets will be going on sale for Buffalo and Montreal (since Toronto has already gone on sale and that's a right off :( ) Please let me know! (Most appreciated!) Take care, Suzy ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 20 May 1999 16:35:23 EDT From: ShirlPower@aol.com Subject: %Cran: The L.A. show I was at the L.A. show last night, too, with my friend Lina. We waited out in back for soooo long and finally by the time I got to Dolores for her to sign something it was time for them to go, but fortunately I DID get her autograph. I wanted her to sign the blue Promises shirt I got but I didn't think that would show up since the shirt is so dark. I was the one in the orange jacket with my friend in the black Cast jacket if anyone on this list was among the major fans waiting out in the back for hours. We were so bored waiting, honestly, we spent a really long time laughing at the Irish crew guy that looked like a cross between Richard Ashcroft from the Verve and Gruff Rhys from the Super Furry Animals. We took pictures of the black crates that said "Cranberries - Limerick", out of boredom. I wonder if that guy with the Cranberries book ever got back home? LOL. Make sure you have a ride for when you go to a late-night concert, people!! AND I WAS SOOOO ENVIOUS OF THOSE GIRLS WITH BACKSTAGE PASSES!! AAAAH HOW DID THEY GET THEM? I need industry connections, hahaha. The show was AWESOME, it was so great to see them after not having seen them since 1995!!! Dolores was awesome and it's sooo great to see her with her signature Dolores cut!!! I was a bit disappointed they didn't play Free to Decide or The Rebels, but almost ALL the awesome songs were playing. The sound at the Wiltern was wonderful. I think the song I most enjoyed last night was Loud and Clear, that's a real song to play at a live gig. My friend snuck a camera into the theatre so I actually took 4 pictures, all during Ode to My Family! Then the fat security guy said to stop, so that was the end of my picture taking spree. But yeah, I did get a few pictures of Dolores in the limo. What a magnificent show it was!! I can't wait to see them again. Didn't care for the opener, Jude, though. - -Sharon ------------------------------ End of cranlist-digest V2 #136 ******************************
