(of course) My favorite songs so far are Desperate Andy, Delilah, Fe Fi Fo, and You and Me. Also, the Love and Rock n Roll documentary was the greatest 30 minutes ever aired on television. I also want to say that the berries are doing well at Muchmusic. They rose to #20 on the video charts this week, and everyone needs to go to www.muchmusic.com and email a request for the video, so they can continue to rise. Finally, but perhaps most important, Muchmusic will air the Cranberries Spotlight on May 27. For those of you that have muchmusic and have not seen this, it's great. It was made in 1995 and is a 30 minute program with NNTA-era interviews. They also play several videos including the ORIGINAL dreams video (the old, rare version). So mark your calendars! for more info go to www.muchmusic.com Ashley - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. Hello, Can anyone confirm or deny that the Cranberries will be appearing at an HMV in Toronto on May 8th? Also, generally speaking, what's the best way to go about getting an autograph? Is it best to wait outside the venue? I would rather not bother the band, but I think my girlfriend would like to get an autograph. Obviously, somelike HMV would be less intrusive than bothering them outside a venue (and I would really prefer not to bug them). Any advice would be much appreciated. Also, are certain members of the band more receptive to giving autographs than others? For example, I know that in U2, Bono and Edge give autographs outside their hotel (but the other two members, Larry and Adam don't go out of their way to do that sort of thing; Larry and Adam don't like getting bugged by fans that much) in the cities they tour in. If Dolores et all can't stand autograph signing, I certainly wouldn't want to try. Actually, Dolores gave quite a few autographs at the London show. The people that waited by the band's exit door got to chat with her and get her to sign a few things. Although the "lads" don't really like all the attention. Fergal says on the unofficial interview disc that he gets kinda embarassed when people come up to him on the streets and ask him for his auto. He's tolerant of it though, as long as it's not a mob chasing him (according to him). As for Mike and Noel, I don't know. -Alex - ----Original Message Follows---- From: The Webslinger Reply-To: good@yesic.com To: Cranberries Email List Subject: %Cran: Meeting the band? I had a couple of questions for toronto-ians or people who've gone to the concert b4: I was wondering how early show I get there at massey hall before the concert. It starts at 7:30 but since it's a small venue and there's no opening act, it's different. Is 6:30 better or is 5:30-ish? Also, how long would show be? Um, how can i possibly meet them? b4? after? what can i expect? Can someone please tell me the details about their visit to HMV on may 8th? Will there be a RTML meet b4 or after the show just so we'd say hi and know who we've been talking to all these years!? What other kewl places carry cran-stuff or other just fun stuff to do for the rest of the weekend? Will anyone be bootlegging the show? If so, can i have a copy later on? umm, i donno what else to ask! Okay I'm really nervous about the (I've been to a couple of concerts b4 in Ottawa) but it's like my very favorite band whom i've wanted to see in concert for 4 or 5 years so I'm like flipping out! so if you could answer any of my questions, I'd really appreciate it. It'd also be kewl if I'd get to meet any of you at the concert u'know (i'm not into net-meetings at all but i've been here for a long time that i'm getting really curious. don't worry I'm not judgemental or anything. I'd just like to put a face to a name u'know) anyways, yeah thanx alot! talk2yalater, Dal p.s.- in the ottawa citizen, there was a review for bury the hatchet and it got 4 out of 5 stars! i will type it up and send it to the list! p.s.2- YES!!!! I also got tickets for edgefest'99 (kinda liek a mini-woodstock) some pretty good bands are coming like moist! - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. Jude is opening, at least, according to the Jude website. > it's different. Is 6:30 better or is 5:30-ish? Not unless you are waiting around in an attempt to get autographs from the band, I would think (and even then, I wouldn't hold my breath). > Also, how long would show be? I have no idea about the opening act. Cran set list is probably around 90 minutes. Opening act is probably, at least, half an hour.
