They all mimic each other by basically stabbing Dolores's vocal abilities and lyrics. They seem pretty pathetic to me. Fortunately, 'Bury the Hatchet' has actually had decent reviews from 'Rolling Stone' and 'Entertainment Weekly'. >> I Have yet to hear the album in its entirety but I have managed to locate the single. I have to say that so far I'm pretty disappointed. I recall earlier reports of the new album promising a return to more gentle roots reminisacent of the first album. So far the new material reminds me a great deal of their last album. "Promises" strikes me as another formulaic Zombie knock off in its presentation. I think the first two albums succeeded because they were written and delivered from the heart. Their latest efforts lack the same passion. Interestingly enough my favorite song from TTFD was "Cordell" which touches upon much of what seems to be missing these days. - -Little - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. I could also be some stuff from the recording studio that is unreleassed (like between the takes). Bootlegs are illegal since that the band doesn,t receive any money if someone purchases a bootkeg. Also, bootlegs are expensive. They normally cost 25$ for a single CD but I saw some bootlegs for sale higher then that. Bootlegs are great for the cran freak. I would recomend visiting the Wanted website for more info on cranberries bootlegs and reviews on them. _________________________________________________ Jean-François Goyette (Fluo) dbgoyet@videotron.ca or fluo89@usa.net ICQ 10289063 Web page: http://pages.infinit.net/fluo1 (under huge renovations) "You'd better beleive I'm coming, you'd better beleive what I say" Dolores O'Riordan of The Cranberries _________________________________________________ >What is a booleg copy of the cranberries?
