If I buy something, do I have to send money > first? Do you know some guys I should trade with and some I shouldn't? Bidding and buying is absolutely free of any costs and you do need nothing for it except the money to pay for the stuff you won after the auction. ;-) The feedback system actually gives a very good idea of whom to buy from and whom not, basically guys with two or more negative feedbacks should be avoided, if you do not absolutely want to have the item. Also, the more positive fb they have, the better. Also read the info about the items carefully, boots can be bad CD-R copies or CDs can be used and scratchy, if it does not explicitely say NEW / UNUSED or NO CD-R etc. On the other hand, IMOs and cheques are pretty save + eBay is a great way to get rare and old stuff and I have used it quite often, so just test it, there is not much too lose. ;-) Selling, on the other hand (must be the third by now ;-)) costs a bit, as you have to give eBay a percentage of what you earn from selling stuff, and you have to beware that even ppl with no or negative feedback can bid and maybe not send you any payment afterwards.
