I recorded the performance to a high quality VCR and Video Tape at a friend's house (who had a digital satellite, btw), and then recorded the song onto my PC once I got home. Since everything was such high quality, I just assumed that the performance would have been broadcast in stereo. I didn't really have much time, so I encoded it right away. Thanks to Curtis for pointing out that it was in mono the entire time. I would have never even thought to check that. Anyway, I'm sorry for any wasted bandwidth my file might have caused, and I'm in the process of correcting the file at: http://www.the-cranberries.net/promises.mp3 , so even if you use the old link, it will be the smaller mp3 file. Also, I have a quick question... does anyone have all the pictures from the picture section on the official site ( www.cranberries.ie ) saved to their hard drive? I never saved them, and now that they're gone, I'd really like to have them... If anyone happens to have them, I'd love to know where I could download them, or if you could send 'em to me. Thanks, Jason Wendel - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. I got your mail from 4 Jan 99, called "Re: %Cran: bootlegs"... > Does anyone know if Songs Against War is any good? It is the same concert as "Dreaming My Dreams" and "Live Zombie" and an awesome show to have. It was actually my first bootleg. I got your mail from 3 Jan 99, called "Re: Re: %Cran: bootlegs"... > *** "Songs against war" and "Yesterdays Gone" are both excellant titles and I > highly recommened them. Basically most stuff from KTS is great quality, "Scream" is IMO also highly recommended, if not for everything, than at least for a brillian live version of The Icicle Melts. Though the actual site is closed down at the moment, you can still get it at www.kissthestone.com, you have to click on the tiny link under the headline.
