So far, they always took live songs or a song from the album on the first single, so maybe this time it is a demo version?! What do you think? AND [;-)] does anybody here like remixes? echobelly had remixes of their songs on the last single released and (as I think all remixes) they were awful, I think they have virtually nothing in common with the actual song besides the name. Hopefully the Berries will never put mixes as B-Sides on their singles, but rather keep the live and acoustic stuff flowing. ;-) Take care, - Frederik +++ ICQ *3887587* +++ *Homepage at* http://www.toevo.de/puti +++ +++ *Cranberries Cover Gallery* +++ http://crancovers.home.pages.de +++ - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. I also wouldn't be surprised if it showed up as a bonus track on the European or Japanese releases if it isn't used as a track on the US release. By other artists I mean Roni Size, the Chemical Brothers, or the like who are famous for remixing songs. Overall, I tend to be indifferent toward remixes. Some of them I find quite refreshing and really cool; others I find tedious and dull. Seven minutes of a drum track that has nothing to do with the original song just doesn't do it for me, but creative remixes with extra vocals or additional instruments added in can be great. Today I'm realy happy 'cause I've read in the newspaper (La Nacion- Seccion Espectaculos) that the Cranberries are probably touring to Argentina this year. I know what 'probably' means, but it's the first time that is mentioned something like that, about the berries for this part of the globe. By the way, they made a mistake and spelled the name as "Cramberries" Do you know that Smashing Pumpkins came last year (as tourists) and without any advertising they made a little performance in parque Sarmiento (or was it in The HardRockCafe) for only a couple of their fans; the fans were fascinated by this move. If the Berries plan something like that, better than a bigger performance it's gonna be amazing. :-)))) ================================================== Un E-Mail de: Matias G. Perhaps some of you have not visted the room in a while or have never heard of it, and I just wanted to say that it is a great place to ask questions, trade files, or discuss the cranberries. I mean, wow, I can probably say I have over 8 copies of a single version of a single song just cause of that!!! ;) ho hum... such is life... ;) nic... <<--------------- "I can't believe that!" said Alice.
