Well, since everyone is decloaking I thought I'd join in. I'm 23 and I'm from the US - new jersey.. I've been listening to the cranberries since I heard linger or dreams on the radio (can't remember). I went out and bought eeidiswcw and I've been hooked ever since, thougth that's still my favorite cran album, with nnta not far behind. sunday may be my favorite cran song, but i do go throug phases, so..... it's tough to say. other music that i love is sarah mclachlan, blur, beastie boys, rem, portishead, chantal kreviazuk, the beatles, and lots more that escape me right now. well, cool meeting you guys....the list is actually slowly picking up it appears. Ciao! Kyra "They told you life is hard. Misery from the start. It's dull. It's slow. It's painful. But I tell you life is sweet. In spite of the misery. There's so much more. Be grateful. Its good to know that all sorts of people listen to our favorite band. and it also shows that TTFD wasnt as unsuccessful as some may have thought ;) Paul - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. TTFD didnt catch on like the other 2 albums, but everyone already knows that. It will be interesting to see which direction the berries have moved in now. paul - --------------------------------------------------------------- This is the Ridiculous Thoughts Mailing List Send posts to : cranlist@smoe.org Send unsubscribe requests to: cranlist-request@smoe.org Put "unsubscribe" in the BODY of the message. Bailey" Subject: %Cran: Re-Introduction of everyone on list Hello all! Since everyone seems to be re-introducing or introducing themselves for the first time to the list I thought I would join in. I have been a member of the list for over 2 years now, even though I don't post much to it. I live in Cookeville, Tennessee (USA) and work for Fleetguard, Inc. ( http://www.fleetguard.com ), a worldwide filtration products company in their Information Systems Data Center Dept. I have a college degree in MIS (Management Information Systems) as well as a Associates Technical Degree in Computer Information Systems from a state technical college. I have been a fan of The Cranberries for some time. I heard them first on a local college radio station when they played 2 of the the 4 tracks from their now rare, collectable EP, Uncertain. The year was 1991.....the first song I heard from them was "Pathetic Senses", which is still my favorite song by them. The other song was "Them". I was hooked from that time forward. I ordered a copy of the Uncertain EP from a mail order company in the UK. It took it about 2-21/2 weeks to arrive to me. It cost about $20.00 including tax, shipping and handiling. I am proud to say that I have an original copy of the CD version from 1991 when it was new. I also collect they CD singles, promos, LP's, EP's, radio shows, videocassettes, cassettes and anything to do with the band. I have over 60 different CD's, LP's, EP's, radio shows, videocassettes and cassettes. I have collected them over the last 6-7 years, getting many of them when they were new. My favorite album is EEIDISWCW?? because it was when they were young and not as "polished" as they are now. I like all of their albums also. Each reflects a different time in the life of the band. It will be very interesting to see what the new album will be like. See everyone on the list!!! ________________________________________________________________________ Mark A.
