Young" Subject: [chakram-refugees] Barnes & Noble I was just down at Barnes & Noble (Honolulu) over the weekend and I was pleasantly surprised to see that Universal has recently come out with their own versions of the XWP DVDs, sans commentary or extras, but in a *much* more attractive and compact packaging (5 DVDs in one single DVD case, 3-4 eps per DVD, and nice color photos and good write-ups for the jackets) than the previous Anchor Bay sets. Also, the price is good per season: $26 (though I suppose for the entire series, Anchor Bay might be cheaper). Also, B&N is having a "Buy 2, Get 1 Free" special on now until the end of Jan., so my 3rd item was free. ;) They only had 1 disc each of Season 1 and Season 2, so I scarfed up both (even though I already have S1 in the Anchor Bay version, which is more bulky to carry around). You could ask B&N to order them for you if you go in person, or check out the Web site : . It seems Universal is gradually releasing each season, as S1 came out in 2010, and S2 came out in 2011. Haven't been able to compare the quality of the 2 sets side-by-side, but these new ones are direct from Universal, and so far IMO the picture quality seems better than the Anchor Bay ones.....?
