Subject: [chakram-refugees] Percy/Olympians

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning  Thief
snuck up on me.  I just noticed it is out this  weekend.  It will 
be an  American-teenager-discovers-he-has-superpowers
fantasy with Greek gods vs. a reboot of a very old  horror
franchise (The Wolfman).  The cast has some  mythologicals
played by stars -- Medusa (Uma Thruman), Zeus (Sean  Bean),
Chiron the centaur (Pierce Brosnan), Persephone  (Rosario
Dawson) and Hades (Steve Coogan) while others are played 
by actors unknown to me -- Poseidon, Aphrodite, Athena, 
Hera, Demeter.  No Artemis.  Below is an early  review.
