Young" Subject: [chakram-refugees] Re: OS: Legend of Seeker--S2 This past Sat's. ep was *very* reminiscent of XWP. ;) I do say, Tapert's got his Xena replacement in Kara, the Mort-Sith (sp?)-turned-good. In one tavern scene, Kara fights off the bar customers, with the fight moves very Xena-like (I think they're using the same stunt coordinator that was on XWP). Later in this ep, Kara returns home to her sister, only to find the townspeople turned against her (sound familiar? ;) ). In a "trial" demanded by the Mother Confessor and the Seeker, we discover Kara was propagandized and tortured by the Mort Sith, to turn her to their ways. When Kara finds out the truth about her father being tortured and his throat burned so that he couldn't tell his daughter whether he sold her to the Mort Sith or not, she breaks down and "reforms", much like XWP. A chastened Kara joins the Seeker and the Confessor on their journey--*whee*!
