Subject: [chakram-refugees] Clash of the Gods

History Channel started a new series Clash of the  Gods
last night.  The first episode was about Zeus,  mostly
his fights with the titans and with other gods.   History
Channel used to have a lot of good shows.   Nowadays
it has working class tough guy shows, occult stuff and 
soft porn ("History of Sex").   
 
The new series was middling, dubious  popularization
with the talking head academics much more  serious than 
the frenzied narrator.  Actors  playing Zeus, Hera, etc. 
glared at each other and never spoke.
 
Episodes on Hercules and Hades are coming up.
