Young" Subject: [chakram-refugees] Somewhat OT: Celebrity Duets Redux Just saw on PBS on Sat. 12/13/08 a tribute to David Foster, called Hit Man: David Foster and Friends, where Foster plays piano with or interacts with about 17 different stars or celebs who came out to pay him tribute for all the hit songs he's written or produced for them since the '80s. It was quite impressive, with the likes of Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Josh Groban, Boz Scaggs, Peter Cetera, Brian McKnight, etc., saying how much Foster had helped their careers, and what a great producer he was. Since I didn't exactly know his reputation at the time I heard his criticisms of LL's singing during Celeb Duets, this special put it into perspective, and reinforced all the more how he was probably correct in what he told LL at the time.
