Hi md, nice to hear from you! I've tried looking at the west coast and specifically the Waitakeres on Google Maps, IIRC they've got about half of it on air photos at good definition, and half of it is extremely poor and small-scale (and that may include Bethells, I can't remember). It probably depends on what aerial photography is available, presumably at some time they'll update. My problem here at home is, I'm on dial-up with lots of line noise on occasion, which makes anything like Google Maps painfully slow to access. So I usually just take a look from work. The same would apply to panaramio, probably. I'll take a look anyway. (This is one reason why the pics on the NewXenaland Locations pages aren't bigger - even on a good day, when the line noise has gone away, it's still a lengthy process uploading them all). > anyway, between the walls, lucy's comment abt sarah 'say it ain't so joe' > palin and a general yearning for days of yore as i listen to the heads > talking and spinning, i've been revisiting xena and it's been fun. what a > show, what a show. > > glad some of us are still around. > > md Yep.
