As Xena, Lucy Lawless was the epitome of girl power as a tough yet sexy sword wielding warrior in a skimpy leather wardrobe. Lawless recently turned the TV temperature again as a sultry blonde Cylon on 'Galactica.'" Grace Parks and Tricia Helfer have also made the list. It's an interesting list because everyone who was ever on primetime TV is a candidate and there's some real golden oldies on there. "The top ten are still to be revealed." Probably the only one I would disagree with is Suzanne Sommers being included-to me she's a plain jane trussed up in a blond bombshell package. Most of the other women do match the Western ideal of a beautiful person-they have symmetrical faces-sculpted cheekbones abound. Oh and of course, the other disagreement I would have is that Lucy isn't number one. No one was ever hotter than Xena. No one. AND of course it's great to see that Xena, the iconic TV pop culture figure of the 1990's (at least according to the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of American History which has chosen to display Xena's costume-you go, Kiwi grrl!) continues to fascinate us. And hey-did astronomers suggest that anyone else's character on this list have a planet named for them? I don't think so. As I love to say, Xena will never die.
