" that to me was her best scene, where she was playing a character i didn't quite recognize from anything i've seen her in before. all the little nuances of facial expression and voice. and the pull she does on the drink after michael goes running after lucy. by the way, i haven't mentioned this because i felt so bad about sharing so many spoilers here, for those of you who haven't seen it yet...but the whole gag about "lucy." i wonder if the name of that character was actually changed after LL decided to do the show. when bruce campbell first uses that name, and everytime thereafter, you know he is really talking about lucy lawless. fun. cr, if you are reading this...i wish we had a direct link with you, so that everytime something played over here first, we could send it right to you by...angel jet or something, so you wouldn't have to wait two years! lilli ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. And the two years (for Xena Season 4) was exceptional, call it an unusual glitch in the works, the usual delay here is probably more like 3 to 6 months. And just sometimes (for programmes of e.g. British origin) I think I may get to see them as soon as you do. The delay doesn't worry me too much - take BSG for example, I still have all of Season 3 to look forward to! What made the gap in Xena difficult for me (or would have, if it hadn't been for my tape fairy godmother) was not the amount we (in NZ) were behind the US, but just the length of the gap between S3 and S4. That would have been too long to wait. The reason for the gap, as I recall it (my memory could well be wrong), was that Xena was screened first on Sky TV (which is a pay channel), then some months after the series ended, it would be re-run on free-to-air TV3. So Sky was always a season ahead of TV3. And I *think* Sky just stopped screening Xena at the end of S3. So then we got S3 repeated on TV3, _then_ after that TV3 got around to screening Season 4. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
