Oh well....maybe when I become a *millionaire* one day.....;) LOL >jackie, about burn notice, it's a pretty good show, feels like i'm >watching cops and robbers movies. about spy stuff in miami, campbell has >a pretty good role, sharon gless from cagney and lacey is in it (lacey), >and some pretty good humor moments which i like in a drama, which is one >of the reasons i liked XWP so much. - --Thanks all, for explaining (I guess _some_ folks are falling down on the job about posting the news to the list, eh?!? ;) ), and I do remember seeing only a very small snippet about it on ET, but didn't hear the tie-in with LL or BCampbell.....Also, I'm not one of those fortunate ones to have _cable_, either, so Burn Notice will have to go the way of BSG for me--unwatched. ;/ [as violins play ;) ] >there aren't any real roles for her to fill out in the same way and cut >loose. like having a good bra...ya can't fill it out right if it's not >cut right...couldn't resist that. - --LOL! Lilli, you are getting *bolder*, aren't you?!?! ;) Actually, I still see the prob as 2-pronged: not enough of those roles, but also LL isn't choosing those roles for herself. I think she's deliberately staying away from the action-adventure genre, but that's what she excels at, IMO. For instance, she would've been great for Lara Croft, but I don't think tried out for it. Or, the Catherine Zeta-Jones role in Zorro. And for some reason she thinks comedy is right for her, so she tries out for Just So Right or Less Than Perfect or Bernie Mac, and IMO, those just *sucked eggs*. ;P Then her "serious" roles end up being *schlock*, like Vampire Bats or Locusts. ;( *sigh* I mean, even Rob could've told her those were pure fluff. ;P So, although there aren't a *ton* of those types of roles out there, the ones that are there are being avoided by her, and I believe, deliberately. ;( As usual, just MO, ;) - --Jackie ****************************************************** * Proud to have the same birthday as Lucy Lawless! * * * * "I think New Zealand geographically comes from * * ...
