With a handful of old Westerns thrown in for good measure. I wonder, if westerns staged a comeback, would there be cons for them now? They list the top forty shows. The top fourteen are Xena, Firefly, Bonanza, Gunsmoke, Farscape, La Femme Nikita, The X-Files, Battlestar Galactica, Lexx, Buffy, Roswell, Ponderosa, Laramie, Stargate and then the first "straight" show is Combat!, followed by Little House on the Prairie. So ten of the top fourteen shows are Sci-fi/fantasy shows while four are westerns. There are thirteen more Sci-fi/fantasy shows on the rest of the list, giving that category 23 out of the top forty shows. (This includes "Highway to Heaven" which is fantasy, even if not shoot-em-up-fantasy like most of the others are.) Out of these, four are Star Trek shows-Voyager, Next Generation, the Original Series and Deep Space Nine. Joss Whedon also has four shows, Firefly, Farscape, Angel and Buffy; Rob and Renpics have three-Xena, Cleopatra 2525 and Hercules (at 39th, right in front of "Les Filles de Caleb--a show of which I have never heard). > What the contest really reflects is a combination of the number and the > devotion of the shows' fans. Yup. And it's pretty obvious also that sci-fi fantasy fans seem to be among the most devout of all. Which is great-I thought they would only consider her as a Special Guest Star. Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer are running against her in the same cateogy. And you can also vote here: http://uk.tv.yahoo.com/features/sci-fi-sirens.html Where Lucy is soundly trouncing the rest of the field. And here: http://lesbianation.com/scene/starvote.cfm Where Lucy MAY be soundly trouncing the rest of the field. (They don't list the totals.) On this list, Lucy has made the cut and stayed on the list longer than anyone else ever did. And she's often in first place--which is nice. Since there's so little posting going on I have to spend my Xena online energy somewhere. See what your silence has brought me to!
