(Now, does that out-geek XT? 8) Now lets check the cast lists and see if I got any of those right Mark Ferguson - Dagnine of course, also John Smythe (Xena Scrolls), Krykus in H&H and Remember Nothing, and several Herc eps Ray Henwood - Sisyphus in Death in Chains (hey, he was a king! - got that right :) Ian Mune - three roles in Herc, most prominent as Menas Maxius in The Gladiators opposite Tony Tood, none in XWP (Ian Mune is a very well-known NZ actor in his own right) Paul Norell - the atrocious Falafel who was indeed seen in a Xena ep - Lyre Lyre - also played a street vendor in Cradle of Hope, Statius (who?) in Prometheus - probably the slick salesman who was trying to sell miniature volcanoes, the peddler in The Quill is Mightier, and of course the dodgy dealer in the graveyard in who sold Alti some hair in Clones. Craig Parker - no, he wasn't a monster, that was Anthony Ray Parker - Craig was Sarpedon (who?) in For Him the Bell Tolls, Cleades (who?) in Key to the Kingdom, and Bellerophon in Helicon. (I should have remembered that one. But I was thinking of Anthony Ray Parker instead, I'll admit). Martyn Sanderson - only ever seen in Herc eps. King Menelaus was the one in King of Thieves, it was an excellent dry comic performance - an ep worth watching, btw. Stephen Ure - yes! Monlik in Dirty Half Dozen (he was the nasty looking assassin, IIRC), also Werfner (name rings a bell) - umm, in 3/21 and 3/22 - that was Sacrifice 1 and 2 - of course! - the high priest of Dahak and Keeper of the Egg. "We don't like strangers". Nathaniel Lees and Bruce Hopkins of course we know about already - Nat Lees most prominently (IMO) as Nicklio the healer in Destiny, Bruce Hopkins as Rahl in Daughter of Pomira and Tegason (a warlord) in Ten Little Warlords. Which ones didn't I mention - Noel Appleby - not in XWP or Herc Jed Brophy played Ramius in Looking Death in the Eye (and no, I didn't remember that ;) William Johnson - not in XWP or Herc Sarah McLeod - not in XWP or Herc Robert Pollock - two minor roles in Herc eps Peter Tait - played Daylon (who?) in Orphan of War SO - if you hear a New Zealand actor mentioned, it's probably a safe bet to say "Oh yeah, they were in Herc/Xena" - so long as you can get 50-50 odds, you'll probably come out ahead Of the 15 (?) names listed, only THREE were never in Herc or Xena. I recall Rob Tapert's comment about 'running out of actors'. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I didn't actually go and look them up. LOL! Now, to address your 'whos': > Paul Norell - also played a street vendor in Cradle of Hope Yes the one that had his cart being ripped up as they searched for the baby >Statius (who?) in Prometheus - probably the slick salesman who was trying to sell miniature > volcanoes, You got it. ;) > Craig Parker - no, he wasn't a monster, that was Anthony Ray Parker - Craig > was Sarpedon (who?) in For Him the Bell Tolls, Awww, come on - that's an EASY one. The prince who was marrying the princess who was falling in love with Joxer. >Cleades (who?) in Key to the Kingdom, Ack, another easy one - the BABY! LOL - he was the adult version. ;) >and Bellerophon in Helicon. (I should have remembered that one. But I was thinking of Anthony >Ray Parker instead, I'll admit). You know, of all the actors on this list, Craig is actually the ONLY one I remember ACTUALLY SEEING in any of the LotR movies. He played an elf. > Peter Tait - played Daylon (who?) in Orphan of War Pretty much a nothing character - he was the 'extra' centaur that had two lines.
