Subject: [chakram-refugees] Xena in new book

A new book, Television Characters : 1485 Profiles, 1947-2004,  by Vincent
Terrace, pub. by McFarland, 2006, has brief entries describing  Xena, 
Gabrielle and Callisto.  Most of the entries are  "origins" type information
about how the character got started.  There isn't much  other detailed info
on the characters.  For instance, the  four paragraphs on Xena end 
with "She travels with a young woman named  Gabrielle."
 
The only errors I spotted were in the Gabrielle entry.   "An Amazon is
a warrior of Ares, the God of War.  To repay Gabrielle  for saving her
life, Ephiny bestows the title of Amazon Princess and teaches  her how
to fight."  Of course the Amazons had nothing to do with  Ares and 
followed Artemis; and Gabrielle was made an Amazon  Princess
for trying to save another Amazon's life, and it wasn't up to  Ephiny.
 
Joxer, Ares, Aphrodite and Caesar don't get entries.   There are entries
for characters from Beastmasters, Highlander, Jack of All  Trades, and
Queen of Swords, but surprisingly not Hercules, Sinbad and the  many
Robin Hood series.
 
Would anyone want me to transcribe the complete entries to the  list?
