You'll just get a busy signal throughout the show until the show ends. Then voting is open for two hours after that in your time zone. angie in NM http://xenawp.org http://lesbian-films.com ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. That's how they're supposed to do it, and mostly how it's done now. But archaeology is also littered with tales of base charlatanry, and so the notion of an early-20th-century archaeologist tossing away the bones of a skeleton that might prove him wrong in some way down the road is, sadly, not that surprising to me at all. :/ - -- =============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth =============================================== hear at the HOMe House Concert Series http://hom.smoe.org =============================================== ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. One of the things he's remembered for is his careful methodology, so this idea of him "discarding" human remains is very strange to me-- unless the local authorities insisted that the bones from Ur be given "decent burial" after they were found during excavation (which has happened occasionally at other archaeological sites). In a feeble attempt to find out what really happened, I've just flipped through my copies of Woolley's "The Sumerians" and the memoirs of one of his assistants, but I found nothing relevant, so more research will be required... - --Sekhmet (off to visit google.com ) ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
