We've put her on polls all over their site. We have her on the show poll for XWP, (Currently ranked #3-right behind JAG and right in front of Surface which is moving up fast, unfortunately): http://www1.teavee.com/xena-warrior-princess/ on the singer's poll, (#5) (Right behind a guy named Pizza Bob, believe it or not): http://www.moosak.com/lucy-lawless/ on the celebrity poll (#3-right behind two of the JAG stars or so they tell me since I'd never heard of either of them before): http://www.celeeb.com/lucy-lawless/ and we also put Xena on the athlete poll. Where she is ranked as #2, beating out many notable athletes. I LOVE that one. http://www.athleit.com/xena/ There's a lot of fans over there and we actually talk a lot. We do a lot of joking about the show and a lot of teasing of each other. Actually, this list reminds me very much of the late, great, lamented Xenaverse list with its irreverence and give and take--but without the flames! We have one troll who stalks us but we totally ignore it and flag its post which makes someone behind the scenes delete it and Poof! It be gone. It's a very lively place for Xena fans to hang out. We have all adopted new handles-I don't know who started that and some people have "come out" with their "real" fake Xena names. But I think it's very refreshing-it's like starting all over with no baggage, no preconceived notions, no grudges, no vendettas. It's like the very early days of the fandom-when everyone was giddy to be a part of it and when everybody was just discovering both the show and each other. It's a real pleasure to be there. But it's also a whole different experience than being on the Xena lists because we interact with fans of other shows also. We have some alliances-we and JAG band together to beat trolls out of each other's hair. One of our greatest alliances is with Spongebob Squarepants-we trade a lot of votes with him. How cool is that? Laugh! Being on this site is like moving into a whole neighborhood of subdivisions of fandoms. The American Idol fans are VICIOUS to each other-they're like in full battle mode all the time. They would actually vote against each other (though they recently removed that possibility) and reading their lists was positively hair-raising. The big move at the moment is from ABBA on the music list-they are RACING up the poll. I just find the whole thing fascinating-yes, it's a group of people like us, but not us. We are known actually as being very friendly and helpful to anyone. We trade off votes and we go chase off trolls. Some people from other fandoms come squat on our board just because they enjoy visiting. We're like the moms of the neighborhood. The cool, sexy moms. Ha! Anyway, it's really fun over there. It really does remind me of a very innocent and fresh time in the fandom. People might want to go check this out. We talk mostly on the XWP show list. But of course, you might want to read a few posts to get the feel of the place before jumping in if you decide you do want to talk. Everyone is very friendly. But be forewarned-this voting (and this list) is VERY addictive.
