Theatres attract me ONLY because I hate having to WAIT to see things. That drives me nuts - which is why I will see the Narnia fi;ms on premeire dates, but either than that, no more. :P Julie XT Ruffell Screenplay writer of AWAKENINGS AWAKENINGS OFFICIAL SITE: http://www.roachsrealm.com/awakenings XENA TORRES SITE: http://www.bitchofrome.com "Save me from the dreaded hopping bracelet." - Croft AWAKENINGS ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. If you're a total loser like me and you have no plans for this weekend, you could go waste some time on voting for our favorite show. I don't know why I'm doing this, since I usually don't mess with these things. I bet I just have too much time on my hands. Here: http://www1.teavee.com/xena-warrior-princess/ XWP is doing (let me assume a fruity Kiwi accent) SPLENDIDLY on this poll except for the fact that we are in 2nd place and JAG JAG! is beating us by 11,000 points. We were holding them down to 8000 until last night. Little sailor besotted buggars. Oh, you can also click on the Moosak link and vote for Lucy as best singer. There she is most SPLENDIDLY leading the whole pack--grrl's even beating out the Beatles. BWAHAHAHAHAHA! KT go, go--there's nothing to see here anymore-move along, move along now. k ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Group of guys who did not shut up for the ENTIRE MOVIE. There was not ONE SECOND I didn't hear them and they were told to shut up numerous times by numerous people and had the gall to reply, "Shut your hole." OUR holes? EX-SQUEEZE ME!? > > Where have all the good movies gone? :( > > > Julie XT Ruffell I don't go to the movies any more - I have Netflix. I find the theaters uncomfortable usually too cold and I have trouble hearing (not because of the audience who actually I find are better behaved than when I was younger). I prefer DVDs - the only thing I miss is the popcorn. Anyway there are good movies here are the ones I just saw - Capote, Broback Mountain, Transamerica (Felicity Huffman is amazing), Crash, Narnia, Nanny McPhee. The good movies are out there but they often they aren't made by the major studios.
