This is a complicated plot point. The Six in Gaius's head has been telling him that they would have a child - a baby girl. When Sharon turns up pregnant Six tells Gaius this is their child. It may be that she means this in a generic way - in that it is a blending of both their worlds and it need both the protection and love of the humans and Cylons. > >> > Sharon is smitten by love. Adama is a skeptic if not an aethist and finds reliong just myth and even dangerous.
