Http://www.scifi.com/scifiwire/index.php?category=0&id=34526 I said: > You should see the amount of discussion churned out on my BSG list.>> Ife replied: What was the range of reactions to Lucy's appearance? Oh, they liked her, to be sure. She/her character/her storyline generated a good bit of discussion and lots of tangents. They were as far as I could tell really enthusiastic about her performance and the fact that she was revealed as one of 12 of the human-looking cylon models (we call 'em "humlons" for short). Oh, goody. No offense, but as good as BSG is, I'm mainly interested in the details/ characters that relate to D'anna. Oh, man... :) None taken, but BSG is a fluid story that started way back in the miniseries. It's like one, gigantic, freakin' long movie. While I can just talk about D'Anna, it won't make any sense. :) But that's okay, because I am patient. Patient as the wind. Soft as water. Subtle as hairpins. Whatever it is Lao Ma said. :) Of course, the way she's set up, she pretty much interacts with everyone. Not sure that'll continue, but it could get worse -- interacting with everybody in the "other" world too. (Earth? A Cyclon ship? Yeah, okay, you can answer that for now.) Haha. Here's the blessed short version to clarify things, for now. (I've not read any spoilers - this is just my own opinion, based on my experience with the show.) She's likely going to do a lot of interaction with some very key characters. This interaction will likely have explosive and lasting ramifications that will slowly reveal themselves. She'll likely have scenes on the Galactica, on one of the civilian fleet ships, and/or on Caprica, playing 2-3 different characters (that are the same person). She may even be seen on a cylon ship, who knows, but if that's true, she may be playing anywhere from a dozen to a thousand of herself. In short, she'll be everywhere at once - literally. :P You'll have the excuse to make me learn why the VP talks to someone who's (apparently) not there. I don't care! He can talk to his toes, and I won't be in the least interested in the philsophical import of that. So just remember -- Lucy, Lucy, Lucy. D'anna, D'anna, D'anna. Got that, ol' evil one? Yeah! We've got a lot of work to do on you. :P S. -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Their hearts don't have to pump blood as far through the miles of blood vessels and veins in the human body. Less of a chance of it being being diverted from the brain and pooling in the legs which could lead to blackouts. -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
