If I read it right, they're running the original movies (and KULL), so here's a chance to pick up pre-X:WP Lucy & Renee. Meanwhile, what's the situation with VERONICA MARS? Is Lucy going to be on again? At the end, last week (admittedly I just fast-forwarded thru parts without her in them) it felt like she would be. And, what's also puzzling is that the description of this week's ep in the newspaper sounds just like what happened \in/ last week's. "House's home"? umm. . "House's front door." ? Just checked the online episode guide, they have "outside House's place." That reads and sounds much better. :~) Hey, the site even has a collection of House-isms! *************************************************************************************************** House b "I teach you to lie and cheat and steal and the second my back is turned you wait in line!" *************************************************************************************************** On Sun, 29 Jan 2006 20:04:01 -0600, Laconia wrote: > I really like "House" also. Personally, I thought it had a lot more to do with Gabs' fears of children ("little monsters," cheeky, trouble makers, always needing something and pawing at her). Gods know the one she actually birthed turned out out to be one. Despite the possible psychological aspect, I tried not to make more out of it than a silly way of making her fears concrete. I guess it's one of those cases where either you buy the fantasy the whole way or not. I just went with it, same as I did with Bacchus, the harpies, the dryads, Orpheus' talking head, the Titans, giants, Centaurs, Cyclops, or the chaky. Heck, I had less trouble with those than, say, Xena's ability to leap or fly over practically anything in her way. The former were supposed to be fantastic. I wasn't always sure when the WP would do more fantastic things the other humans. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. She got to show so many sides that she usually didn't in "regular" eps -- like Lucy got to do with her look-alikes. Fishtsticks was one of the few Xena/Lucy lite eps I can watch for the sheer fun seeing ROC do her thing. I think I also liked the totally different setting and references to "real" world people, events and objects. Mainly, it was just seeing the cast enjoying themselves so much. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
