She's checking into this. In the future, remember that anything offered by Renee will >come from the seller called rocproductions. If there is another name attached, please beware! Hey Sharon and all, I thought, as an employee of eBay, who works in account security/fraud, I'd offer some tips. I'm not sure if these sale offers are listings or emails, but I would suspect they are FAKE second chance offers (which sadly, many UNDER bidders on high priced items get) FAKE OFFER: Will say "Question from eBay member." Will direct you to contact a different email address OUTSIDE OF EBAY rather than clicking the yellow reply button. Will NOT have the subject header highlighted in blue. ALL OFFICIAL eBay communications (which a second offer is), will have a light blue highlight on it in your "My Messages" in box. Report FAKE offers to spam@ebay.com If it's an ACTUAL listing, please check first if the member won the item from Renee first, but I really CAN'T image a fan winning and then turning around and selling an item, as they would never get a bid as high as buying from Renee direct. Report fake/questionable relistings to the webform: http://pages.ebay.com/help/contact_us/_base/index.html Sharon, if you want to pass this onto Renee - as the SELLER of these items, if she sees a listing that is NOT hers, it's better if she reports it direct, as a report from the seller will result in faster removal of the listing (yes, we'll take down the fake one if reported) as Renee can say, "I painted this, only I am selling thse original works" which confirms any other listing is fake. Remember all - when in doubt - ASK EBAY (or Renee in this case by clicking "Ask member a question" if the seller is not 'rocproductions') Even if you bid, DO NOT PAY if you aren't sure until you CHECK. Do not pay with wire transfers via banks or companies like Western Union. If you send $2,000 for an item that does not exist, your money is GONE. Western Union can't get it back for you. It is NOT a safe way to send money to PEOPLE YOU DON'T KNOW. eBay has a protection plan up to $200. PayPal has one up to $1,000 and you can pay by CREDIT CARD (who can stop payment). Nearly all frauds do NOT accept PayPal/credit cards for this exact reason. *sigh* Can you tell I do this all day? ;) Please feel free to pass this info to other lists. We don't want our fellow fans defrauded! BATTLE ON XENA! It was an actual fake auction and wasn't from the person who won the item. I checked that first thing. I also emailed the seller asking where they got it and received no response. I emailed the three people, including the winner, to say it was a fake item. Heard from the two that didn't win. Didn't hear from the winner which makes me think the winner was a shill. Here's the listing: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7372463846&ssPageName=ADME:B:SS:AU:1 Renee is reporting it.
