All I can figure is that her mom is missing, Veronica's spunky and not as rich as many of her fellow students, that her dad is a PI and has mixed emotions about some of the cases she's taken on her own. The fan in my office talks about a VM site, so maybe you can start there. I'm hoping she'll give me the background on Lucy's ep, as I fear I haven't been sufficiently snagged to watch every week. I've been making myself focus on that, just to catch what's going with the extras. Take "Remember Nothing," after Xena's returned to Amphipolis. Near the beginning, just before she walks into view on her way to the merchant's store, you see the townfolk doing all sorts of chores. Or the detail of her house, with the various artwork. In "Paradise Found," I just noticed that the door to their room has a black-and-white yin-yanag design like their beds.
