Subject: [chakram-refugees] Joxer in worst characters contest

My local paper, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, had an essay contest,
judged by the local TV critic, for essays about "a character who has
ruined (or almost ruined) a show for you. ... Characters from  Saved  
By the Bell's Screech to Drew Carey's Mimi, Xena's Joxer to Good Times'  J.J. 
were verbally skewered in fine fashion."  Announed Oct. 3, the contest  
winner (based on the quality of the essay, not the number of votes) was for a  
despiser of Horatio Chase of CSI: Miami.  Poor old Joxer can't even win a  
worst-character contest.
