It seemed to me - prompted by the occasional appearance of a Fate in the alternate reality to taunt Xena - that, rather than just letting things happen in the alternate reality, the Fates may have been deliberately steering it in a particular direction. And if so, then they may have been deliberately making the alternate reality intolerable for Xena, as I said. > The Gabs part was the main thing that struck me as > way too coincidental. Maybe not more intolerable - except that Xena didn't tolerate it the first time round, either. What would have been intolerable for Xena was doing nothing about it. And, don't you get the impression that if Xena had resisted killing on this occasion, the Fates would just have found a way to turn the heat up further? > > I care for the next ep, Giant Killer, even less (it's on my TV right now > > and > > I'm finding more interest in my keyboard). Which Giant Killer wasn't. And Xena (or her stunt double) did get to do half the action. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I didn't take that one, my friend did. Yeah, you're not allowed to take pictures and she snuck a few off at the end, but the place was LITERALLY vibrating under all the noise, so they were very shaky. Also, horrible lighting from way up in the balcony. I wish I had whipped out my camera and snapped a few shots, but I was scared to get busted and get told to leave or something. ;) > Was she kidding around -- you know, like turning the tables on you? I think so. Steven does that too. Takes pictures of the crowd and asks for our autographs. Tee hee. >I don't recall anyone ever mentioning her taking pictures before, certainly not of fans. Hmmmmm, me either. Not with Lucy anyway. Other stars though, yes. So funny. Course, maybe they just honestly want a picture. "Check out all the people that came to see ME!" I mean, you have to remember, a lot of the actors, though A list to us, are not big names. Bloody hell, more than half the time I have to explain who RENEE is to people. And I can't just say, Gabrielle from "Xena." I have to say, "The blonde girl that hangs around with Xena." *rolls eyes* Even LUCY, I have to say, "Um, XENA! HELLO!" And if they don't know who Xena is, I just get scared. ;) BATTLE ON XENA!
