(For those of you who didn't read to the end of my long boring post the other night...) There's a new page on the NewXenaland 'locations' site, about Woodhill Forest. It summarises what I found at the cost of slightly sore feet. It's got lots of piccies of trees. And the scene of the runaway chariot sequence in Key to the Kingdom. Isn't that exciting? But no piccies of my feet. http://cr.qc1.net/nx/woodhill/woodhill.html cr p.s. Also, the Amazon camp in Sin Trade (or 'What's left of it' as Amarice said); all the skirmishes in Endgame (but not the battle, that was at Lion park); bits from Them Bones and Coming Home; Swan lake from Crusader; and a few more bits. p.p.s. I found a classic blooper in Key to the Kingdom - just as Joxer gets snagged on the runaway wagon, there beside him on the ground is the print of a 4-WD tyre in perfect focus. It's right there on screen, you don't even need video capture or slow-mo to see it. ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Subject: [chakram-refugees] Reference to ITADITH.... For those of us who like to look in current shows for references to XWP, I saw one on 'Lost' last Wednesday night. I don't watch the show all the time so I'm not familiar with the character's names... The character who is a doctor found another member of the castaway group hanging by his neck with a blindfold over his eyes [I have no idea how he got there, but it sure didn't look like suicide]. He and a female character cut the guy down and the doctor started doing CPR, but to no avail. He started doing chest 'thumps' in frustration and telling the guy not to die. The female character told him that the guy was dead and to stop. He did for a moment and then started the 'thumps' again and telling the guy not to die. Then the dead character came and started gasping for air. Well gee... writing it all down like this makes it sound kinda forced. But just watching the action as it played out, my first thought was ITADITH. ... back to looking for more straws to grasp for...
