Apparently not. > > Do you think "reality" for "hard-science" types is different from > "reality" for "liberal-arts" types? ;) *hehe!* >> Dunno. I've known of some in both groups who can segue between multiple realities and those who steadfastly believe there's only one -- theirs. > > And which was Xena? Certainly she was willing to traverse wherever she thought she might learn something, get on the same page with or help a friend, find a new ally or fight an enemy. I liked that XWP dealt with the physical and spiritual worlds more like cultures who believe in the "oneness" of the universe and that the hero ultimately triumphed by trying to understand and work in both. > > Only her hairdresser knows for sure......;) > Nah. One thing we can count on is that Xena had many (universal) skills. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I prefer downloading a piece and reading it at my leisure, frequently away from my computers. I have copied and pasted some articles into Word documents, but that is tedious. One of the charms of the old newsletter was that you could hold in your hands, in a comfy chair or anyplace away from the rest of the world, if desired. I am a paper and ink freak, so I really miss the ease of that form. Please consider using pdf format, wherever possible. bd - -----Original Message----- From: owner-chakram-refugees@smoe.org [mailto:owner-chakram-refugees@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Cheryl Ande Sent: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 9:48 PM To: chakram-refugees@smoe.org Subject: [chakram-refugees] Questions about fan kit 1. What happened to putting the interviews up in adobe reader? I was saving them in that format which made it easy to print with the pictures. Has this been discontinued? At least give us a choice as to format. 2. In the episode guides the audio players don't always appear so you have to down load the clips and then play them after having read the article. Can this be fixed? CherylA ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Because the webmaster was going on vacation, I had to get that article written in a hurry so it could be put up for the weekend. That's when I decided to experiment with making it a regular web page like the other sections of the kit 8 site. After the holidays, I'm going to see how many people benefited from not using the acrobat. I know we can't make it work for everyone, but we'll do the best we can.
