I have finally broken down and wanted to purchase Xena DVDs for a few months now, to replace my dozens of taped-from-air video tapes that are wearing out (and I'm getting rid of them when I move in a few months), but I gotta admit I'm p r e t t y unsure of what to look for and who to buy from, so I've just not bothered. It's a frustrating thing. So, is Best Buy *the* place to go, missing discs notwithstanding, to make sure I get all the extras and commentaries? S. However, depending on where you live, there are apparently outlets connected to Best Buy where you can also be sure of getting the extras. The key is that the box have a purple banner across the top that says "exclusive bonus" content. It may also be safe now to buy from BB online, as supposedly they've fixed the problem I encountered before, where that version did not have the bonus material available in the store. I should say that this is the first time I've bought a set that was missing a disk that was supposed to be in it. I returned the deficient box yesterday and got a complete set with no problem. I was also able to exchange the online version at a store, despite BB's return policy rules. The bonus discs have always been there as advertised. I believe it is the most complete set.
