In fact, I have no idea what that cut is or what it might be called in New York. I enjoyed this little thread very much. Cracked me up. What really made me laugh though is that whenever I've been out of the country for a long time, one of the things I yearn for most is an cheeseburger. Because I have never ever anywhere tasted a cheeseburger that tastes "right" outside of America. And everytime I run into other Americans who have also been away for a while, inevitably, someone says, "Boy, do I miss hamburgers". And all the other Americans nod with sad faces. So for Lucy to be complaining that we can't do burgers just made me grin with great delight. Food is so important a part of home. The minute I get to New York when visiting, the first thing I want to eat is a New York Sabretts' hotdog, with mustard and onions stewed in tomato sauce. I have never ever seen that condiment offered anywhere else. And at the first bite, I know I'm home, or at least where home was when I was a kid. KT who saw beetroot burgers at a McDonald's in En Zed. But forebear to partake. And just before they cut away, the announcer at the contest said, "Xena, Warrior Princes!" and a young woman walked by in an okay but not spectacularly precise outfit. They didn't say who won though.
