BOO! For various reasons I ended up not watching _Tru Calling_ when it was on, but the entire season was saved on my TiVo so I've been starting to catch up this week, trying to knock off a couple episodes a day. The show definitely got a lot better as it went on, but I still can't say I understand why it was spared while _Wonderfalls_ got the axe after what, only four episodes? As much as I adore Eliza Dushku, _Wonderfalls_ was a much better written and acted show. Meredith meth@smoe.org _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? But, yeah, that show needed WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY more of a chance then it got! BOO! TV stations pull the plug too damned quickly. But if you're watching "Tru Calling" now, trust me when I say, that by the end of the first season, they sure had one heck of a second lined up. It would have been AMAZING! Tru needed a little longer to find its legs, but when it did, WOW! BATTLE ON XENA! NOOOOOO! Seriously? Ah, that SUCKS! Andromeda was Canadian too? Interesting. Well, I know SPACE picked up the old eps of Mutant X. It's possible they might pick up the series. BATTLE ON XENA! Ah, that explains it. I had noticed that Sci-Fi had picked up Andromeda and wondered why it also didn't pick up Mutant X, since its ratings were a bit better than Andromeda's. I suppose the head honchos at Sci-Fi thought that show was more in line with its programming. I never thought that the production company might have gone out of business. Too bad. I liked Mutant X; I even got to like Lexa at the end of the 3rd season. But Vicky Pratt made the show sparkle and gave it verve. bd - -----Original Message----- From: owner-chakram-refugees@smoe.org [mailto:owner-chakram-refugees@smoe.org]On Behalf Of a.reddecliffe Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2004 10:16 PM To: Xena Torres; chakram-refugees@smoe.org Subject: Re: [chakram-refugees] OT: MutantX Cancelled?
