That's been driving me NUTS since LAST season (she actually showed up in season five in "Crimes and Witch-Demeanors" and was also in the two hour finale "It's a Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad World"). She DOES look REALLY different. I thought she seemed familair, but I couldn't place it at all! And, for those who want to catch her again, she will be in the upcoming episode "Charrrmed!" as well. >Also, Piper went to an Indian wedding and has just a spell or something >on her... she suddenly has 8 arms.... reminiscent of WXP the WAY. They >seem to use many cues from Xena in their show... Six arms actually, and, no that wasn't a tribute to Xena. In "The Way" Xena became Kali (an actual Hindu deity), while in this ep Piper became Shakti, a different Hindu god all together. (and Leo was Shiva, in case anyone wanted to know. ;) BATTLE ON XENA! I'm not sure what I think of the "Members Only" corner of the website. This sounds suspiciously like a trial run that may end up in a paperless newsletter. I don't mind seeing interviews or photos I probably wouldn't get in the fan kit anyway. But you learned awhile back how wedded some of us are to reading material we can hold in our gnarled old hands -- without having to download stuff that overloads our internal and external computers. True, the current newsletter is in b&w, while no doubt the new "Members Only" thingy will have color photos. And what's with the "on-line video"? Will this involve extra footage from interviews (newsletter, DVD)? Perhaps snippets of, say, guest and charity appearances? I'm assuming it won't duplicate what we'll get in the fan kit (except the color part)? Obviously this is to encourage folks to get the fan kit, but am I being paranoid about this "exclusive access" *replacing* what we've been getting? - -- Ife the Inquisitive ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I just came back from a camping trip where some very stealthy critters stole food -- digging under a tent, cutting their way up thru the floor, then hauling the stuff off somehow. The camp folks say some of the raccoons have even learned to push the lids off supposedly secure storage containers and pull up the bags of garbage people sometimes hang on tree limbs to keep away from varmints. But no, nothing really dies on XWP -- not even the chaky. Certainly not cr's obsession with its technical capabilities. Cheryl, weren't you to blame for starting that marathon chaky discussion awhile back? Which Sharon so helpfully put in the newsletter? If so, did you *not* learn your lesson the first time around?
