And Claire never stops talking...... Ann ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. It's a pity Amarice didn't get to stick around after Them Bones. I think her character could have gone on developing and it would have been interesting to watch. > > Similarly, of course, *the* ep for Claire would have to have been Sin > > Trade 1 or 2. > > However, it's not too late for Claire, maybe they can get her for Send in > > the Clones > > When Fates Collide? Umm, I guess I'd managed to forget that ep KT knows what I mean But if I had to guess, I'd say it's quite likely WFC will get the treatment anyway, so that being the case, yes, adding Claire would be good. But I *still* want to see some interviews for Clones!!! (Actually, when they get someone for interviews, I think they ask them about all the eps, then spilt the interview up among the relevant episodes. So if they do get Claire then I would expect to see her interviewed for both Clones and WFC anyway. > > > Seeds just didn't have the feel of a 100th episode celebration, > > > > > > > There were a couple of shots on location on the > > > > dunes at Bethells and that was about it. The > Gabrielle rope fight is one of her best fights of any season. Ah, OK. Forgive me, I'd kinda forgotten that, since Xena wasn't in it. ;) Umm, there was another fight scene that Gabrielle was in, wasn't there - oh yes, Aphrodite and Gabs 'wrestling'. Brunne and Hilda. Now how could I have forgotten that one? > > > > If we were going to get 'raw footage of cast and crew' > > > > I wish we'd done so for Sin Trade, now that *would* have been worth > > > > seeing. > > > > How about a DVD of Amazon High and an audio/video commentary of Sin > > > Trade? > > > That should fill the gaps. > > > > Who's a starter for an expedition to kidnap TJ and Vicki and Claire and > > tie > > them up in front of a VCR and not let them go until they've done one? > > ;) > > Judging by the Mutant X commentary TJ and Vicky did, I think the problem > would be to shut them up - they came across as people who never stop > talking. I never noticed anything to contradict that assumption. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I don't imagine Xena went into great detail about it. It's not the sort of thing that she would, I think. She would tell Gabs the essential outlines and leave it at that. On the other hand, there's that puzzling moment in Past Imperfect: XENA Gabrielle, did you see that mountain out there? GABRIELLE Yes. It's part of your vision, right? XENA What if this is the place where it happens? GABRIELLE It isn't. ... which suggests that Gabrielle has been told quite a lot of detail. But there's a lot more wrong with that than just 'what Gabrielle knows'. Actis is (presumably) in Greece; Monte Amaro (where they got crucified) is in the Apennnines, in Italy. It's a real place, too (and for once, in Ides, TPTB got their geography right, it is in the Apennines, not too far from Rome). So.... howcome Xena saw the mountain from Actis? Maybe what she saw was just a vaguely similar sort of peak, and her imagination did the rest. (But Gabs saw it too - but that's easily dealt with. All Gabs had to go by was Xena's description, so any peaky mountain on the horizon would have fitted the part so far as Gabs was concerned.) > > There is the line in Endgame where Gabs says to Xena "You put them on > > _crosses_!" as if there's some special significance to that. I think Xena would have mentioned the essentials - 'you - me - Caesar - crosses'. We know Xena also mentioned the mountain on the horizon, possibly she also mentioned the snow. But as I said, I don't think she would have gone into very much detail, I think she would have been reluctant to talk about it too much to anyone. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
