One is the CD-ROM and the extra ones include featurettes and the director's cut episodes. I watched Sin Trades today and Family Affair. Sin Trades always impresses. I love the job Lucy does in this episode - the way she isn't afraid to go just to the edge of madness and then to pull back to find her center again. The staff people all talked about the horrible weather but I have to say the rain which was such a pain to everyone really set the atmosphere for the episode. The dreary weather emphasized Xena's despair so well that it almost seemed plan. Also I loved the way this episode meshes so well with the episodes that are written afterwards. If you wonder why Borias begins to change when he discovers Xena is pregnant or why he saves the little girl you discover in Last of The Centaurs that he abandoned a child and feels guilty about this. Then you have Xena sudden and mysterious attachment to Anakin which doesn't make much sense until you now connect it up with her relationship with Akemi. You can understand why Xena is vehement about taking revenge on the dead if you read into it what Akemi's death did to her. This is of course all hind sight but I think it shows that the writers and producers were very conscious of how to play off previous episodes as the moved forward in the series. Also it give the HCNB a new way of interpretation the episodes. CherylA ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. And momma Julia too. What's so kewl is that she got it for doing honest good work--for her efforts with Starship. Excellent. If I had to get silly over a television star, boy am I glad it was Lawless. KT ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
