Lucy had ample air time to develop it. I never got the sense of any clear vision for Tarzan as a show, nor was I impressed by the writing. I suspect they "directed" much around Lucy, but gave her a lot of leeway in terms of how she played her few moments. There were times she did something (like a couple of scenes where she threw her hands up in the air) which were at odds to me because it seemed so spontaneous or "human" in such a wooden environment. I liked that she added some "heart," but she also stuck out for the same reason. So, while I can't disagree with the result, I think it's more because of an overall lack of direction, rather than specifically directing Lucy in a different way. I think she had a lot of discretion, just not much to work with. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
