There were three episodes produced that were never aired in the U.S., though they did see the light of day thanks to the UK SciFi channel. They will be included on the DVD set that is coming out soon, but I was able to score S-VCD copies thanks to some kind soul who uploaded the UK versions when they aired. I've just watched them, and the final episode (production #10, though I believe it was scheduled to be the "season finale") featured Melinda Clarke as the main guest star. She played the proprietor of a remote whorehouse that was under siege by an evil local landowner because one of the girls was carrying his baby. (Clarke's character, Nandy and Innara went to Companion school together.) Nandy's a great character -- a very strong-willed woman who will do anything to protect her land, her business, and the girls in her charge. Clarke and Nathan Fillion (the captain, Mal Reynolds) had some great chemistry, too. I highly recommend checking out this episode once the DVD's come out. =============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth =============================================== Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://muzak.smoe.org =============================================== ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
