And thanks again for reading me. > > Best, > Melanie McFarland > Well, I'll say one thing -- at least the reviewer seems to know more about Lucy than most. The reviewer gives Lucy the benefit of the doubt, despite her opinion of the first ep. She also gives Lucy some business sense because of the series deal, as well as 'mother wit" in terms of her children. That's a lot better than the WB site, which suggests "athletic" Lucy did her own stunts.and has only two children. I hope more reviewers are as charitable. Apparently Lucy feels the risk is worth it. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Or sometimes it could just be a logic problem - I have one DVD that just hangs completely in one player while the other one plays it perfectly. This is a known problem, btw, I've seen a website (can't remember the URL now) that has a list of specific movies and which players they have problems with. And it looks like a completely random list. cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. True, which is why I said I watched them with no problems, not that they didn't have problems. In fact, your own observations made me take the time to scan all the S1 and S2 disks. As I pointed out here or on another list, there is a lag time, in this case about 3 weeks, rather than the 4 I had estimated. Also in the same issue is an article on the late John Ritter. The bit in TV Guide goes like this: "He Tarzan, She....Xena? "Xena the warrior princess has come out of retirement to save someone else's butt. Starting October 12 on WB's TARZAN, Lucy Lawless plays a publishing magnate who tries to stop her evil brother, Richard (Mitch Pileggi), from doing our favorite loincloth model (Travis Fimmel) harm. Just to recap: Xena good, Richard bad, Tarzan hot." That's mostly the same as was published on TVGuide.com, with the exception of the date of Lucy's first episode. I don't always get online early in the evening, so please excuse any repetitiveness in this post. bd ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
