Before I got on discussion lists, I saw the show through only one set of eyes. Now, I see it through so many different eyes. No matter how many times I watch an ep, there's something "fresh" that I got from someone else. I may keep some of the same conclusions, but it forces me to understand better how I got there and opens me up to other conclusions. > By the way I believe Akemi is a very bad person!! Sorry to her fans. > Oooo, I'd love to hear more about that. I thought the actress was wonderful. I thought the character she played had almost as many flaws as Xena. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I thought "they had each other for house" (home) was one of the best ways of communicating the relationship that I've seen. It really hit me in the gut, in terms of *feeling* why AFIN seemed so "wrong" to many fans. I think the girls' individuals quests were the "head" of the story, while the relationship was the "heart." I tend to relate more to the former, so like to under the latter better. Latter better. Oy. so much for my expressing things. Anyway, come on, spit it out, let it flow like you usually do. Works fine for me. :-) - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. In my opinion the character is bad not the actress. I mean, come on, she fooled Xena not only in present but in past too. Let's play our game, Ife, I' ve given you the key. Watch again the FIN and figure out if it feets with your opinion!
