That does explain why the 'action' in sitcoms is so limited. What I said about low production values of sitcoms stands, I think. > A show like `Friends` will sometimes use tracking shots or crane shots > which are traditional one camera techniques. Well, not so much with reference to seeing the track, but seeing *tracks*, I have occasionally noticed the location shots in Xena skilfully avoid showing the ground or the sand where there would be tyremarks... and also, of course, buildings and power poles and the like. There's a little white-painted surf club lifeguard hut on stilts in the middle of Bethells Beach that must have called for some careful camera positioning (and given Flat Earth quite a bit of employment in the long shots) cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I was doing something else at the time so I didn't see the video, but I could hear from the other room *menny* succinctly Xena-esque "YIYIYIYIs" coming from the TV. ;=) I remembered that LL said her yell was actually bastardized from the yell Muslim women make when sad/happy/whatevers, so I intellectually _knew_ it wasn't XWP on TV again, but it sure sounded like it and it sure got me hopeful.....;=) Just FYI, ;) - --Jackie ****************************************************** * Proud to have the same birthday as Lucy Lawless! * * * * "I think New Zealand geographically comes from * * ...
