There's also an episode called "The March To Freedom" with Lucy Liu in her pre-Ally McBeal & pre-"Charlie's Angels" days. There's even an episode directed by Bruce Campbell, but I can't remember which one. I guess I'll just have to go watch them all *again.* (Sigh.) I haven't gone to Best Buy and checked it out -- yet, but if it does include the 5 telemovies and season 1 (which was 13 episodes long), then the DVD set should include the following: * Hercules and the Amazon Women -- LUCY LAWLESS * Hercules and the Lost Kingdom -- RENEE O'CONNOR Hercules and the Circle of Fire Hercules and the Underworld Hercules and the Maze of the Minotaur The Wrong Path Eye of the Beholder Road to Calydon The Festival of Dionysus Ares * As Darkness Falls -- LUCY LAWLESS Pride Comes Before a Brawl March to Freedom * The Warrior Princess -- LUCY LAWLESS Gladiator The Vanishing Dead * The Gauntlet -- LUCY LAWLESS * Unchained Heart -- LUCY LAWLESS Worth picking up the DVD set - in my opinion. - -- Cousin Liz eas01@fast.net Soulmates Xena Dinosaur Bards http://cousinliz.com ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Every time the TV channels repeat something in primetime, there are bleats in the Letters to the Editors in the TV Guide etc, moaning about 'repeats'. Personally, I'd rather watch a fifth repeat of a *good* program, rather than the usual 95%-junk of new programming. If it was worth showing the first time (which most isn't), it's worth repeating! My only complaint about repeats is when they repeat a series and don't get all the episodes in order. And to Hades with what's 'trendy'! cr ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. How long do we have to wait before >something like this is set-up for email? We have SpamAssassin set up here at work. It does a fine job; even the DoNotCall.gov registration email got through (it's been targeted as spam by some spam filters). I registered @ DoNotCall.gov this weekend, and when it goes into effect here in a couple months, I'll tingle with excitement every time the phone rings during dinner, hoping it's a telemarketer. That's funny. I wouldn't mind having something like that for spam. Isn't it a bit insane that as consumers in the age of technology we have to have our phones protected by the government, our email thwarted by spam blockers, our TiVo's snipping commercials and our computers outfitted with popup killers, just to get a moment of ad-free privacy? Makes me miss the simple days when I was so frustrated by the amount of junk mail in my snail-mailbox.
