So we don't have any explanation of how > Gabrielle got out of lava pit and thus we have no reason to make this > episode. Hang on. Because Ares lied about one thing, doesn't mean he lied about the other. He may well have saved Gabby, possibly in mistake for Hope. Gabby (in AFA) said she fell onto a ledge (or summat like that?) Not very probable. Maybe Ares, discovering his mistake, dumped her there. However, why does there need to a be 'reason' to make *any* episode? He was certainly on good terms with Ted Raimi. If Josh was being cruel to anybody, it was the snotty lecturer who superciliously squashed anyone - in this case Annie - who ventured to disagree with him. > > Xena at first > > believes it is Gabrielle but finds Joxer in the woods with a megaphone > > imitating Gabrielle. Is it a bonus offered by Best Buy on season one DVD's you can currently purchase online or at stores? I've seen "The Xena Chronicles" offered with other season one DVD's. I've seen sellers offering season one on eBay stating that the box set caomes with 6, 7, & 8 DVD's. What's confusing is that I'm holding the boxed set in my hands that I recently went and purchased from Best Buy. The front/bottom of the box states "Six DVD set", but the top/front of the box states "Exclusive Bonus DVD... What you didn't know about Xena... A 60 minute featurette from the directors of season one". But the DVD set has 8 DVD's. Enough to make my head hurt. The interior of the boxed set is constructed to hold 7 DVD's: 6 episode DVD's, and a 7th that has the chronicles, bios, trivia, photo gallery, & screensaver. The 8th DVD, from the directors, is in a paper sleeve and tucked into a flap along with the coin and entry form for the sweepstakes. If you want the bonus 8th DVD, I'd make it a point to walk into Best Buy, hold the set in your hands, and read to make sure it's what you want. That's the route I took. Besides, I had a 2 year old gift cert for $80 from when I got a rebate for buying a hard drive from them that was itching to finally be used. :) - -- Cousin Liz eas01@fast.net Soulmates Xena Dinosaur Bards http://cousinliz.com ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
