Also she didn't know Beowulf was wounded so perhaps she > assumed he would take care of Xena. > Hey, this reminds me of somethng else. Brunhilda tells Gabby that only her true soulmate will be able to penetrate the fire, knowing that Xena has lost her memory of Gabrielle. If she hoped that one day Xena would somehow return, I can see where maybe she thought that was the best way for both X&G to be saved and reunited. After all, Xena wasn't a threat to Odin anymore, once he discovered she didn't have the ring or her memory. And Gabby would be protected by the fire. But that means Brunhilda would have to know that jumping through the fire would restore Xena's memory. Wonder how she knew that? Perhaps she 'splained that to Gabs offscreen, and that's why Gabs didn't go searching for Xena. Hey (NAME OF BELOVED HERE) come and look at this!" experienced on XWP - not hard as it was the first episode and Lucy was a no name. Then. Jay Laga'aia has his own successful (and good) series in NZ - Street Legal. He was born in South Auckland to and is a dual citizen of New Zealand and Australia. He was even more popular in Australia (if possible) due to a show called Water Rats (Sydney Harbour police - no kidding). Quoting from the Street Legal site http://www.streetlegal.co.nz/jay_laga'aia.htm ".... he acted in many New Zealand dramas, including Gloss, Strangers, Open House and Marlin Bay; offshore productions filmed in New Zealand, such as Mysterious Island, High Tide, The Further Adventures of the Black Stallion, The Other Side of Paradise and Soldier Soldier; plus New Zealand feature films The Navigator, directed by Vincent Ward and Never Say Die, directed by Geoff Murphy. His Australian work also includes Violent Earth, Tales of the South Seas and Green Sails, a US telemovie. More recently, he was the recurring guest lead villain, Draco, in the international hit US series Xena: Warrior Princess. Alongside his acting career, he has also worked as a presenter, achieving national recognition for Your Choice, Telequest, Telethon This Week and the Coke 48-Hour Music Show. He also presented Cyclone Ofa, a TVNZ documentary about the disaster in Samoa. In Australia, he was presenter of Robot Wars and a special guest on Playschool. His musical and singing talent led to starring roles in musical theatre in New Zealand and Australia, including The New Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar and Ladies Night. He composed and arranged "Let's Party", the successful single release from the Water Rats album and the soundtrack for the funeral sequence in Green Sails. He recently played percussion with Russell Crowe's 30-Odd Foot of Grunts at their Sydney concert." Jay is a cool guy. Others in her category are Sigourney Weaver, Lynda Carter, Diana Rigg, Lyndsey Wagner.
