However, I can say from practical and rather reprehensible experience (in my engineering student days) that there is *nothing* quite as slippery on a concrete cafeteria floor as a thin layer of potato, it rapidly reduces the whole place to complete chaos. "hi!" :-) True. I would also add the last little bit of the YAT scene when G says, again, "Right. So what's the plan?" But the BEST cheer ever raised by a moment in XWP for me and mine was in FIN 2 when X got the water from the Fountain of Strength and reappears in her full outfit (which of course we have hardly seen this ep). And proceeds to beat the tar out of Lord Yodoshi. Cheers AND tears. Sniffle. yay..... "hi!" :-) I thought ya'll would like this from Renee's interview when we were watching Chariots of War and Gab tells Xena's she's going with her and "let's go." She takes off walking, as usual, and Xena is riding: RO: Steve told me he always liked it when Gabrielle was walking behind Xena's horse. (laughing) She had to walk. He thought that was hilarious. sd ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. Actually, Cande made reference in her post to a somewhat totally unrelated discussion/debate CR and I were having, stimulated (as usual) by another of Cande's posts. It was partially about times Gabs didn't listen to Xena. Naturally, we couldn't resist getting our jabs in, once Cande gave us an opening. As luck would have it, I totally agree with your comments above and am pretty sure CR wouldn't have much disagreement. One of the things I liked about YOU ARE THERE were all the "reality" bites that took chunks out of the "we never act like that" idealism of the relationship between two people who endure each other's daily "morning breath," regardless of how much they want to spend as much time breathing together and ever after. - -- Ife ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
