I read on a rather quiet list that people think the flame-wars are still going on! (Subject of said flamewar immaterial) Besides, anytime I see the jugular laid bare before me (pleas to not attack don't sway me) I can't resist digging in the talons or fangs. And the pre-emptive assault! Brilliant! Basically cr (my riposte involves condescension) we don't have enough interesting traffic on the XWP lists as it is. Don't make us psychos and sickos stop!! I don't mind the implausible stunts - I reckon that often the technical constraints of the screennsize has an impact. Like the leap in The Deliveryboy - it goes just a couple of metres too far for the arc of the trajectory (hyper? para? don't ask don't tell is my motto). Maybe it was a trade-off for how much of the shot was seen all at once, how high the leap could go etc. Just imagine the same leap, filmed in the style of a fung-ku movie - multiple POVs, slo-mo mix, Lucy doing it herself..... We wouldn't have seen that awkward extra 2 metres. Sojourner ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list. I know there are some Trekkies here -- I don't know if any of you were among the hordes who got in touch with Creation, but if so, Wil's asking that you get back to Creation to thank them for listening. These days, happy endings like this are way too few and far between well....he can also thank people like you for putting it out on a list like this that has many many fans that attend creation's xena conventions (and some do trek and xena conventions). If fans dont pass around information and speak out - we get disappointed with higher prices, lower quality and/or loss of performers at cons. I passed the site on to several star trek lists online and 2 groups here within 10 minutes of creation. I didnt curse creation...I merely linked people to wil's site or gave them the address to go take a peek. I would not have known without Meth putting it out here and many of the people I know would not have known if I didnt tell them,,,and so on and so on. fans can make a difference in their fandom. Wil can say thanks to you Meth. ========================================================= This has been a message to the chakram-refugees list.
