I got RW's Official Companion a few years ago.  It was obvious to me that he 
was indeed a great fan, but kept enough distance to provide real info, not 
just gushing personal response.  It irks me when publications make references 
in their text or captions that are soooo off, but I don't worry about that 
with him.  And, yes, writing to "fit" the subject's personality is something 
I remember liking about his book.  Please do pass on the compliments.
