I found her intensely irritating at first (now where have we heard *that* 
before?  ;-)  but she grew on me after a while.

And she has the best personal theme music in the whole of Xena / Herc.   
Blame that on Lo Duca   ;)

I've been talking to another pup privately and the two of us pretty much 
believe that the majority of on-line fans Did Not like FIN.  I want to find 
out if this is true.  Have posted this on other boards to try to get a wide 
range of fans to answer this.  I have resubbed to Chakram Refugees 'cause I 
remember there seemed to be a lot of folks who liked FIN and I wanted to get 
their vote.  This is posted on other lists and boards.  Please vote only once.

Please pick one of the choices that is the most true for how you feel about 
AFIN.  Feel free to answer me off of the list.  And let's not to have this 
devolve into any conflict please.

yet for my FIN DVD.  <g>  I hadn't realized until recently that LL apparently 
made her "out" comment in connection with Akemi.  I got the impression she 
was talking about X&G, not subtext related to or including other characters.

 I do recall seeing printed commentary somewhere, but can't remember the 
source.  Now I'm a lot more curious to hear the voice inflections and scenes 
that correspond to the comments.  Even then, that won't take into 
consideration that these are somewhat hindsight responses/recollections that 
might be different from LL's initial reaction.  And, of course, each of us 
will "hear" it through our own filters -- as we did with ROC's comment about 
playing it "straight."

Yes, that's the impression most of the posts about it give.

That is of course quite correct.   And there's the widely varying 
interpretation of what 'subtext' means to complicate matters, too.

I think all speculation about what LL or anyone else 'meant' (as opposed to 
what she actually said) has to be treated with a lot of caution accordingly.

Xena Torres, who compiled the best (IMO) transcripts of Xena episodes 
available online, is updating and completing them at the moment.  

(They're what I sometimes call the 'Pacific Northwest' transcripts because 
they were linked off the PNW Xenite site.   Currently they're not available 
on-line because the old site went down, however Xena Torres is intending to 
have them back up, including Season 6, in about a month.

They're better than the Whoosh transcripts IMO because they include the 
action whereas the Whoosh ones don't.)

If anyone has copies of the scripts of Sin Trade, Sin Trade 2, Sins of the 
Past, Who's Gurkhan, or When Fates Collide, and could let XT have a copy it 
would materially assist her in getting the transcripts as accurate as 
possible.   Her email is xenatorres@hotmail.com.
